Inter-House Hindi Elocution Competition

"Poetry is a phantom script telling how rainbows are made and why they go away."

The Hindi Elocution Competition for the junior and senior grade was held at Holy Cross Academy on 16th July 2023 in which students from Grade 1 and Grade 8 participated. The whole purpose of such competition is to develop interest in the Hindi Language and to foster a sense of belonging towards our national language among the students. Public speaking also helps inculcate self-confidence in the children.








The Participants prepared and presented different interesting poems from varied topics written by several famous Hindi poets. Smart usage of attractive props enhanced the overall experience for the young audience, competition was judged by senior teachers from the Hindi department. This Endeavour bore fruit due to the constant support and encouragement provided by our Principal Mrs. Arlene. Indeed, it was a memorable day for our students.

Senior category

1st- Mst.Ameya Gupta - Grade 5 - Shamrock House

2nd - Mst.Harshit Singh - Grade 5 - Azure House

3rd - Mst.Kabeer Sapla - Grade 6 - Shamrock House


Junior category

1st - Mst.Wasim Chaudhari - Grade 3 - Shamrock house

2nd - Mst.Ethan Rebello - Grade 2 - Shamrock House

3rd - Ms.Zainab Mapari - Grade 3 - Ochre House
